International Museum Day May 21, 2016

We’ll be open 11am – 4pm with our staff in period costume to guide you through Thomas Edison’s Birthplace home at NO CHARGE!  We will have children’s games of Tom’s boyhood to play outside and a lightbulb craft for kids inside the Welcome Center.  You just might meet Mr.Edison (Skip Corris) in his birth home as he welcomes you and tells you how his family got to be in Milan.  Nancy Edison (Melissa Vartorella) will be spinning thread down in the kitchen, Laura Silkwood will be playing indoor games in the parlor and our dapper Trustee Steven Culbertson will be the phonograph expert in the Gift Shop! All the museums in Erie County will be open Sat. with free admission and special activities! See you Saturday at the Edison Birthplace Museum in Milan!
